Brad has been an educator for 23 years as a coach, teacher, and administrator. He currently serves as a Director of Planning, Research, and Evaluation for the Chester School District in Chester, New Jersey. Brad is the 2017 NASSP National Assistant Principal of the Year and part of the ASCD Emerging Leaders Class of 2014. He is the co-founder and co-moderator of a weekly Twitter discussion for educators called #satchat. Brad has authored five books including the newly released Tech Request: A Guide for Coaching Educators in the Digital World. He presents nationally on leadership, teaching, and learning in the digital era. Brad also serves as an adjunct professor at Rider University where he teaches a course on integrating Google Workspace applications and other forms of technology. He also is a Google Certified Trainer and supports districts in implementing Google Apps for Education.
Dr. Scott Rocco is a Superintendent in New Jersey. He is also an adjunct professor at The College of New Jersey and Rider University, instructor in the NJEXCEL program, Keynote speaker, presenter, co-founder/co-moderator of #Satchat on Twitter, and co-author of 140 Twitter Tips for Educators and Hacking Google for Education. During his 29 years in education Scott has served as an assistant superintendent, elementary principal, middle school vice principal, and a middle and high school teacher.
Scott has given Keynote, conference and group presentations on the positive use of social media for educators, school safety, marketing yourself, generational differences in the education world, and various leadership topics. He is dedicated to positively and productively engaging educators in a dialogue that improves student learning, enhances instruction, and creates effective learning environments for all who attend and work in schools. Scott was the 2023 NJTESOL Superintendent of the Year, 2022 New Jersey Superintendent of the Year, 2022 New Jersey Public Servant of the Year, and the 2021 New Jersey PTA Outstanding Superintendent Award recipient.
Billy has been an educator in the classroom for over 15 years. Billy has spoken at various national and regional events including Empower19, Empower18, Empower17, ASCD16, the National Principals Conference 2017, ISTE 2019, ISTE 2015, ISTE2014, New Jersey Association of School Administrators, Techspo, New Jersey Association of Educational Technology Annual Conference, Edscape, NJEA, Teacher Conference, among others. Although Billy speaks on a variety of topics and issues, common ones include: Connecting Beyond the Classroom, Twitter & You, Tech Tools to use for the PARCC, Google Hangouts, Edmodo, and The Science Behind a Mystery Location Call. Billy is a Certified Google Trainer and ISTE Certified Educator.
Billy is also one of the co-moderators of #satchat (School Leaders) chats on Twitter. He is a member of the NJASCD Executive Board, where he serves as the Technology Committee Chair. As an author, Billy co-written five books, "Connecting Your Students with The World," "Using Technology to Engage Students with Learning Disabilities," "140 Twitter Tips for Educators," "Hacking Google for Education," and "Getting Started with STEAM: A Practical Approach for the K - 8 Classroom."
